I've got the Stork Club's Between-the-Sheet's in my hand, from Beebe. It's 2/3 oz. rum, 2/3 oz. brandy, 2/3 oz. Cointreau and the juice of half a lemon ... pretty much as cited by Baker, and still too sour, with nary a hint of the alcohol. I suppose that if the idea is to slip your date several snoots-full of liquor, concealed behind lemon juice, this could be your concoction. I don't believe I'll be self-administering any more of 'em.
