Knabenschue – Country Club Style
Use a small stone Mug; Lump Ice.
1 lump Sugar.
2 dashes Angostura Bitters.
Fill with Champagne.
Stir well; dress with fresh Mint and serve.

A curious name for a cocktail. I would guess that this one is a slightly misspelled tribute to Roy Knabenshue, famous in the early days of the 20th century as a pioneering dirigible pilot, and later manager for the Wright Brothers.
